Love to see the Notes app get its due. It’s also my most loved and used app. Definitely borrowing the glimmers and gratitude list idea.

I'm a notes girlie too! Also, highly recommend Seattle and the Espresso Chalet. The coffee line is always long, but the view is breathtaking.

I thought I was the only one loving the Notes app. I go to school full time and work part time. Most people I know use notion but the notes app is the easiest and most minimalistic way of keeping my to do lists. It’s so accessible. I categorize my todo list based on courses, job, miscellaneous tasks.

I love your idea of noting down glimmers. I know some people who do that in a journal but maybe having it in the notes app will make it more natural where I could write them throughout the day than forced when trying to think for things that I’m grateful for at the end of the day.

Two things that I keep in notes that I think some people here might like is keeping a list of meal prep ideas and writing down the things I wanna talk to my therapist about.

My husband and I are so busy we have no time cook during the week. So having a meal idea list running in my notes is helpful for us to not constantly think about what we’re gonna eat this week. Reduces so much stress.

I also like being prepared for all of my meeting including the sessions with my therapist. I don’t want the time I’m paying for to be wasted. Having a list of my worries/patterns running throughout the month helps me bring up

the issues that really matter.

Thank you so much for reaching out! I’m happy you love the idea of glimmers in the notes app- I do love jotting them down soon after I notice them because it helps me be more aware of what I’m loving in the present moment!

I absolutely adore your ideas. Will definitely incorporate them into my notes app too! 🥰

I started using the notes app this year and I’m loving it! One question: do you organize your notes in folders?

Rach's avatar

I always have:

1) A running list of things to bring up at my annual physical (otherwise my doctor says "Anything you want to address?" and I go, "Ummmmmmmmmm... nope?")

2) A packing list in case I have to get ready quickly and I'll have at least all the essentials covered

3) Date ideas for when my husband and I want to do *something* but can't think outside the box.

#1 is such a killer idea, I’m definitely doing that, thank you! I also have a packing list & date ideas list, love that!! If you want to, please share some things on your date idea list because I’d love to have more ideas 🥰

Lol, so ours run a wide spectrum of choice.

1) Learn the choreography to the "Save the Last Dance" audition

2) Find the prettiest bottle of wine and find a really trashy snack food pairing

3) Cook a full dinner together wearing just aprons

4) Go on a public art/mural walk

5) Learn backgammon

6) Visit a falconry

7) Take an ikebana class

8) Take $5 to [insert store] and try to buy the other person the most "them" present you can without going over budget
